Training Overview

    • The legal grounds are Article 13 of the
      Act on the Capacity Development of
      Public Officials (Act No. 13696, Jan.01,
      2016) (Outsourcing Education and Training)
    • Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Capacity Development of Public Officials (Presidential Decree No. 26944, Feb.
      23, 2013),
    • Guidelines for the Handling of Overseas Training of Public Officials and Service Management (Rules of the Ministry of Personnel Management)
  • Training in English-speaking country

    • Training in English-speaking Countries:
      USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
    • Training in Non-English Countries: Japan, Germany, France, Spain, other EU countries
    • Special Regions: China, Russia, East-West South, Central and South America, Eastern Europe and other countries
  • Types of overseas training

    • Depending on the training periods,
      types of overseas training programs are
      divided into long-term training (more
      than 6 months) and short-term training
      (less than 6 months).
    • According to the hosting organizations,
      overseas training programs are divided
      into overseas training conducted by the Ministry of Personal Management and overseas training conducted by individual ministries.
